From April 30 till Mai 17 E-Werk Freiburg, Theater Marienbad and Theater Freiburg are co-producing the International Festival of Theater and Dance. On may 9 at 8 pm, you can see «Next Step Is – The Art of Improvisation»: 4 dancers and 3 musicians will show all the power and possibilities of improvisation: nothing is planned, the only thing that counts ist the moment – and the only thing that will be sure: Next Step Is. As dancers there will be on stage Hideto Heshiki, Michael Schumacher, Julyen Hamilton und Michael Shapira, as musicians Géraldine Keller, vocals, Clayton Thomas, double bass and Harald Kimmig, violin.

From august till october, Hideto Heshiki is invited as an Artist in Residence to the Artists Village in Taipeh, Taiwan. These three month will be a wonderful chance for Hideto to develop his own work as an artist, but also to meet other artists of the region.
